Chelsea Hotel (MP) - With little fanfare we have passed a decade that was a step backward in the human condition. After the 90's, a modest decade of Western peace, prosperity and semen stains, we were subjected to The Decade of Fear and Loathing. Fortunately all events happen in the duality of human existence, so we will enjoy a few positive outcomes from the past decades disastrous choices.

Of course the Lobotomites, Illiterati and Genetic Rubberneckers will argue that the expected dualist outcome justifies their drastic actions. After all, even genocide can have positive results. The reduced population may improve the economy, reduce famine and disease of the survivors, but the negative impact will last forever in the cultural mythology resulting in further anti-humanistic choices.

The great news is humankind always progresses toward good, otherwise we would have succumb millennia ago to the survival of a superior sentient species. So lets thank the short-sited for the coming decade of great humanistic advancement, their sorrowful choices will result in enlightenment of many to the cause of Being Human.

Duality in tact, the coming decades advancing Humanism will be juxtaposed by the strong arm of Authoritarianism. After some early setbacks, the decade of the 10s will reveal that "It's a MoWorld After All."
